Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announces a second route from Niš. The new service to Malmö in Sweden will commence on June 25 with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
John Stephenson, Executive Vice President of Wizz Air said: „Today, we are pleased to announce the further development of our Niš operation. Only a month ago we announced our first Nis route to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and today, we are adding a second service to Malmö in Sweden. We hope that our Niš routes will be welcomed by our clients as we bring more low fares to Serbia.“
„The establishment of regular flights to Malmö is very important for Niš and the whole region. The new route will connect our people in Diaspora with their families in Serbia,“ as Niš City Mayor Zoran Perišić said at the Press conference held at Niš City Hall.
There will be flights from Niš to Malmö on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. One-way ticket will initially cost about 2,900 RSD, while the return ticket will cost about 8,000 RSD. As explained by Stephenson, prices will vary depending on the term of flights and interest of the passengers.
